Iconic Journey in CRE is Joining Forces with Station DC

We are excited to share that the Iconic Journey in CRE (IJCRE) community is transitioning into Station DC, an innovative hub where technology, policy, and real estate intersect.

This next chapter expands our network beyond CRE into frontier tech innovators, venture capitalists, policymakers, government leaders, and entrepreneurs. By joining Station DC, you’ll gain broader connections, deeper resources, and catalytic opportunities while staying connected to peers from IJCRE.

Here's what continues:

  • The Icons of DC Area Real Estate podcast

  • The Ethical Journey weekly blog

  • Monthly AMAs and property tours led by real estate leaders

  • Careeer Counseling Curriculum

Here's what's new:

  • Membership in a diverse, cross-industry community

  • Exclusive events, roundtables, and networking opportunities at the intersection of tech, defense, and real estate

  • A forward-looking platform to position your career for the future

Questions? Start here.

Why is IJCRE transitioning into Station DC?

To expand opportunities for our members. Station DC connects real estate professionals with technology and policy leaders, creating a unique space for innovation and growth.

What will happen to IJCRE programs?

  • The Icons of DC Area Real Estate podcast, Ethical Journey blog, and Career Counseling Curriculum will continue.

  • John Coe will continue to host Monthly AMAs and property tours will remain to those who transition until approximately April, 2026.

How do I join Station DC?

Use the link provided in the announcement. Membership is open to IJCRE members at a discounted rate ($500/year), with early joiners locked into preferential pricing.  The first 15 applicants will receive a 100% scholarship, if interested.  More scholarships may be available in early 2026.

Will IJCRE still exist as a standalone nonprofit?

The IJCRE nonprofit entity will wind down by the end of 2025. The community will live on within Station DC, enriched by cross-industry engagement.

What's the timeline for the transition?

  • August–December 2025: Members invited to join Station DC

  • December 2025: IJCRE nonprofit entity concludes

  • 2026 and beyond: John Coe continues podcast, blog, and career counseling, while Station DC hosts community engagement

What happens if I don't join Station DC?

You’ll still be able to listen to the podcast and read the blog, but you’ll miss the deeper networking, cross-industry exposure, and mentorship opportunities.

How will current and past IJCRE members stay connected?

Sam Glass, Colin Madden, and others will maintain a separate list of transitioned members for targeted CRE networking.

I'm interested in learning more about the Career Counseling Curriculum.
